I am currently using a Macintosh SE with 4 meg ram. I am curious if anyone knows of a way to hook a second monitor up to the machine. Preferably color as I would like to get color graphics. Also, can the SE actually handle color graphics? If anyone has any ideas, I would appreciate if would could let me know. Thank you in advance. Mark Peterson petersom@tramp.colorado.edu

For color, the only thing I'm aware of is a product called ScuzzyGraph (sp?). I think this gives 8 colors. Sorry, I don't know the manufacturer. Perhaps someone else can help. Richard C. The ScuzzyGraph can be ordered from:
Aura Systems Incorporated
Box 4576
Carlsbed, CA
92008
(619) 438-7730
It looks like an external (zero-footprint) hard drive and sits
under the SE, connecting to the SCSI port.
The big drawback is that you get 8 lousy colors.
Prices are as follows:
1024 x 512 display memory - $895.00
1024 x 1024 display memory - $1295.00
1024 x 2048 display memory - $1995.00
Aren't there any color video cards available for the SE's
expansion slot?schorsch@oxy.edu (Brent William Schorsch) (03/07/91)
for these prices:
1024 x 512 display memory - $895.00
1024 x 1024 display memory - $1295.00
1024 x 2048 display memory - $1995.00
wouldn't it be better to upgrade to a SE/30?
What is the educational price for this these days? Does apple still
give $$ for the old SE Motherboard?
