In reply to the message of kscott@locke.mmwb.ucsf.edu: I'm not sure if the conner has a delay so that it can work in a classic, but my friend work at Le Groupe DRBL in Montreal, Canada, and they sell hard drives for classic from 40 to 300 Megs INTERNAL. It's a popular option to buy the cheapest Mac, put in a video card/accelerator with a full page display and a big disk. A 200 Meg for the classic sells for under 900$ us. I know it's not a conner and it has the delayed startup and they are much faster than the drives from apple, so if the apple drive is a conner, then it's faster than a conner. Anyway, if you want some info you can call them at: (514) 594-2338 from 9 am to 6 pm EST monday to saturday, and sunday you could get lucky and get your hand on a technician doing some overtime... ( my friend to name one). They probably will be able to help you with your Conner drive question. email: sphynx@cs.mcgill.ca snail mail: Le groupe DRBL inc. 9140 san francisco street Brossard, Quebec Canada, J4X 2K1 I do not work for the company, and i'm not a customer. I only know a friend who works there as a technician. I just pass the information along but do not consider it exact as my friend told me about that two weeks ago. The best thing to do is to check for yourself. Tracy Weber, Mcgill engineering
