[comp.sys.mac.hardware] Classical analysis...

Mike Reddy has a classic problem :-)
YES!!!!! Kill 6.0.6!!!! Burn it!!!! It's a witch!!!!
Okay, a more *classic* response. The official party line from
Apple Inc. 6.0.6 was so buggy that it was NEVER supposed to be released.
If anyone has it, nuke it and get 6.0.7. Mike, your problems are more than
likely due to 6.0.6. It's a *classic* problem of quality control. Apple let a
few slip out.
Plugging the mouse in by itself is no problem.
Memory? Mike, how could you turn it down??!!!?? One ALWAYS needs
more memory :-). No, seriously, on a classic, 2 megs is fine, but as more
applications get bigger, you'll want it. I have 4 in my IIx now, and I'll be
going to 8 as soon as I can. System 7.0 is really nice too, and yes, it's a
REAL serious memory hog. All those nifty little features come at a memory
price. BTW, System 7.0 is not as slow as some folks think on a Classic/SE.

				Classy huh?

"How do you -know- it is a witch?"
"It turned my Macintosh into an IBM!"
	"Really?"
	"Well, it got better..."

Sorry about the waste of bandwidth, but I couldn't resist...
