[comp.sys.mac.hardware] Help, what's this video card do?

tjferrar@queen.drexel.edu (Jason Ferrara) (03/11/91)

I have a Nu-bus card called a 'Mac II High-Resolution Video Card'. (at least
thats whats printed on the card) If I select the card in the monitors CDEV,
and click on the option button, I am presented with a dialog which allows
me to select two options 'RS170, interlaced, 512x342' and 'RS170, interlaced
640x480'. RS170 is a video signal which can be fed into a standard VCR, right?
If so, what are the pin outs on this card, and how would I hook it up. The
control panel allows me to select 4-bit or 8 bit deep color or grayscale.
Could I get color video with a VCR and TV?

Thanks for any help in advance.
