I have a Sony PVM 1271Q (possibly 1371Q) monitor which I had connected to a PC TARGA 24 card. I've converted totally to Mac stuff now and am now using the Sony monitor with an old VCR using the VCR's video/audio out jacks. This Sony monitor is a standard in the broadcast arena. It has PAL/SECAM and NTSC (switch selectable), Overscan/Underscan switch, input RGB ports (two), two composite video input ports, a video input port for VTR, and a video input port for computers (DB25 I think). The video port for computers has a pinout diagram for Analog or TTL RGB from the Sony PC or standard IBM PC. Can this monitor be connected to a Mac IIci? Is anyone currently using such a beast with a IIci? *** What other color monitors (except for the Apple Hi-Res RGB monitor and the 12 inch RGB monitor) are people using with the IIci? Are you happy with the monitor and what problems are you having? I will summarize any responses I get in about a week or two.
