Anyone out there have any experience with color slide scanners? I'm looking for a somewhat low-cost (<$2000?) color slide scanner that has very high resolution (on the order of 300 dpi). The application is for scanning in tissue sample slides (Histology), so the resolution can not be sacrificed. I've heard of BarneyScan... are there any others that I should know about?
