A few folks have kindly posted articles decribing their experiences with the new Stylewriter ink jet printer. The consensus seems to be that the ink is pretty water-resistant. That's good to hear.... But, does it require special paper to obtain that resistance or to avoid running before the ink dries? Also, has anyone checked out how well the ink/paper stands up to other environmental conditions like sunlight. Perhaps some kind soul would print a test page and lay it on a window sill with a book covering half of the page then report back to the net after a few days or a week. Will the ink have faded or the paper yellowed???? ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jerry L. No sooner said than done... I have placed my other sample in the window. We'll check it out in a few days. I think someone mentioned that the blacks are not black like a laserwriter, but somewhat gray, didn't they? -- Wayne Folta (folta@cs.umd.edu 128.8.128.8)
