I am looking for 1.4MB floppy drive on Mac+. I want it capability to write and read MS-DOS files. AE 1.4MB floppy drive sounds good. But it does not tell me which Macintosh can use. Does that mean can use all Macintosh family or only Macintosh SE or up? I read couple of articles that 1.4MB floppy drive can not run on old Mac like Mac+, Mac512e, or Mac512.. Please E-mail me or write on this newsgroup. I appreciate your help.. John Kim.

Kennect Technology makes a drive/doohickey setup that will let any mac have a 1.44 drive. The doohickey is called Rapport, and it plugs into the floppy port, and drives then plug into it. --Andrew Laurence eaeu137@orion.oac.uci.edu
