Does anyone know how to fix a harddisk or a SyQuest cartriage once Sector 0 goes bad. As far as I know, there is no way to re-format/use the media then. The harddisk in question is SeaGate SN-138, but I guess it apply to general cases..... i.e. is there any software that let you use other sectors instead.... Thanks, Eric epan@jarthur.claremont.edu

I know only one softwarepackage which can reformat sector 0 Its the OnTrack DiskManager Version 2.2 or Higher you only have to activate the //mapout all defects// option
