Cheers Viewers. I happened to notice a few postings on the subject of converting ADB->Mac Plus. I had a problem similar to this (And so did IBM) that was solved simpley by the use of a Intel 8749 or a MC68705 MPU. I wanted to put an ibm 101 keyboard onto my Apple ][. So with a bit of research some programming, and a chip the problem was solved. It took the ibm "Funny and flamin weird" 3 byte data output and converted it into 1 byte parrell ASCII. This can be done for the ADB to Mac problem, basically its a serial to serial instead of parrelle, however that can be an option also. All i need is specifications on the ADB. i hooked up the cro to study the signal, and found it to be BiDirectional both data and what appeared to be the clock also. Rather what not i expected. if anyone knows any more info on the ADB signals, I would be incrediable greatful if they could drop me line. If all comes together and the project becomes a success, then like usual, i will post my finding, giving people the option to build there own. However info on the system is what i need the most at the moment. Once we get that then its virtually finished. Anyway folks, lets see what happens Thanks. Steve h
