The DEC manual for VMS v3.0 'C' entitled: 'Programming in VAX-11 C' is
to be recommended. The order information is: AA-L370A-TE. I believe that the
approach taken in the manual is useful to an audience larger than VMS
programmers. Our experience with 'C' on RSX from Whitesmith's is that there is
much to be said for an orderly separation of form and function between 'C' and
the operating system on which it is implemented (naturally, since we don't use
UNIX).
