I need some help again, VAX/VMS experts!
I want to edit a given file and use the substitute command from a
COMMAND file (.COM) that I have created. (I am using the EDT editor.)
I am passing the file name, old string, new string, and range as parameters. The
COMMAND file accepts the parameters just fine, thanks. However, when
editing the given testfile, IT does NOT recognize the variable names that I am
using and attempts to locate the "variable name". Any ideas, suggestions, or
advice? Thanx -- I really appreciate it ! ! !
