This is a question to all the System 7.0 beta testers out there. When System 7.0 is released, I want to be able to set up an external hard drive completely configured to run 7.0 only. I also want to keep my internal hard drive configured for 6.0.4. The reason for 2 complete configurations should be apparent. This setup would give me the ability to run my own real-world tests on 7.0 and see if it is reliable enough to implement at work. Would there be a problem with having these 2 hard drives hooked up simultaneously? I want the ability to drop back and punt, so to speak, to System 6.0.4 when I need to get some work done and not have to disconnect the external hard drive to do so. I have read many of your posts concerning a hard drive that has been "touched" by system 7.0. Am I in danger of some unexpected & bizzare behavior with this setup, or will a normal "set startup" do the trick? Thanks for any help. Bill Tsarones
