Dear Interested Parties,
We have a continuing interest in the generation of real-time or near
real-time software, including simulations of Army operational hardware systems.
These may range from single units to networks of units and systems which can
include extensive data link communications by means of radio or landline
channels. Consequently, we are trying to get information about possible
computer-based tools which can be used to assist in the design and verifi-
cation of such programs and simulations.
Multiple hosts would be nice, but for starters, does anyone have any
good words about tools of this type that are hosted on DEC equipment running
under VMS or UNIX or other operating systems? What resources are required,
how much does the tool set cost, and where can it be obtained?
Any info or clues to info will be greatly appreciated, and we thank
you in advance for your interest and efforts.
