We have installed 20 MB internal RAM in a Mac II fx and it does not work. We need this much RAM for the applications we are running on the machine. The Mac II fx only recognizes 8 MB, and allocates 12 MB for the system. We have tried system 6.0.5, system 6.0.7 and now system 7.0 b4. None of them recognize the big memory. We have also installed and taken out MMinit from the system folder. I am not really sure what MMInit does, apart from being an Memory Management Init, and being distributed with the Mac II fx. I'm hoping that someone will have a cure or an answer to this. Please reply to me directly or here on the board. swantew@isy.liu.se
