In the very near future I will upgrading my MacII (with Daystar PowerCard
Accellerator) to a MacIIfx via the logic board upgrade path. Now I know that
when the IIfx first came out, there were a few (many?) compatibility problems
expecially with the serial ports. Now that the IIfx has been out for a while,
I'm guessing that most (all?) of these have been hashed out.
Anyway, if you have recently upgraded to a IIfx, could you e-mail me your
experiences with it: how the upgrade went, any compatibility problems, etc...
Also, isn't there a collection of patches, CDEVs and INITs that fix some of the
IIfx problems? If so, does anyone know what they are?
E-mailed responses would be prefered, simply to reduce wasted bandwidth. I'll
post a summary to the net, however.
Thanks!
