We have just received two Si's with 13" RGB monitors; 1. They both have faint, horisontal lines across the monitor at some point. I have been told that this is the case for all apple monitors. Can anyone tell me more. 2. I've been told that a keyboard restart is possible with the Si. Could anyone tell me how. I've looked in the manual and found nothing. There should be something seeing as there is no programmers switch. ------------------------- Simon Plint TUNRA BSH University of Newcastle, N.S.W. AUSTRALIA. _________________________

I talked to my local Apple dealer and was told this happens with a lot of the Apple 13" RGB monitors, but they don't really consider it a problem. If you just don't like that line, they can adjust the monitor to get rid of it. I need to take mine into the dealer and have the adjustment made. > > 2. You can restart the si from the keyboard by holding down the command and control keys while hitting the key in the top right-hand corner of the keyboaard (the one you use to turn on the system).
