I see many ads for relatively low-cost 20" Trinitron screens. Some examples from MacWorld: . Mirror ProView/8-bit video card Trinitron $2997 . CDA Computer Sales Ikegami CT20 8-bit $2799 . MacTel 20" Ikegami CT-20 8-bit $2795 . MacAvenue 20" Seiko (is this also Trinitron?) 8-bit $2770 I would be interested to know about 1. other good (better) deals 2. experiences with suppliers 3. comments on screen quality - particularly sharpness of focus (if low-cost means blurred focus, I'd rather buy a better monochrome screen for less money) Please send e-mail; I'll summarize if there's interest. -- Philip Machanick philip@pescadero.stanford.edu
