Hello. Anyone here familiar with the 2-chip upgrade to the Mac Plus offered by Brainstorm Inc.? There was a short blurb about it in the Feb 5 1991 MacWeek (p. 82). It consists of a 16MHz 68000 and an ASIC to replace a timing chip. It's supposed to give performance comparable to a Mac II. Price is $249. I called Brainstorm and spoke to someone who did not tell me much. He did say that it appears to have no compatibility problems with any software.
