[comp.sys.mac.hardware] Hey buddy, got any Keytronics advice?

Anyone out there get the keytronics 101-keyboard for the Plus? I recently
upgraded to a gemini 25Mhz motherboard, and would like to get the extra
function keys, and a separate control key.

Does it work with most software?

Does the init have conflicts with any particular software?

Has anyone used a keytronics keyboard with a Gemini accelerator?

In general, are there any horror stories/happy endings that anyone could share
with me?

Finally, any news on whether the init that recognizes the keyboard will work
with system 7? This is *not* all *that* important, as it will be years before
the majority of us switch over to the new OS, but it would be nice to know...

Well, I just recently bought a Key Tronic MacPro Plus 105 key keyboard. I love
it and includes Tempo II. It feels better than the Apple extended and it also
feels much better than the plus keyboard. It uses your existing rj11 cable
that came with your mac plus keyboard. When I looked at the keyboard map
using key caps, it just showed the normal mac plus keyboard. I've yet to
run into any conflicts with inits or applications. If I were you, I would
forget the 101 keyboard and get the 105. And don't pay anymore than $140.

Just my two cents worth.
