[comp.sys.mac.hardware] 512K simms in an SE?

    If I purchase the Mac IIsi 3/40, and remove the 512K simms
(which I would replace with 1 Mb simms), are there other Macs
which can use the 512K simms?

Specifically, are these usable on a Mac SE or a regular MacII? If it's
usable on an SE, should it be treated essentially as a 256K simm (in terms
of jumper/resistor settings)?
