I would like to play with interfacing some new devices to my Mac+. Does anyone know if any of the memory above the 8MB mark is unused by the VIA and SCC? I know they don't use 4MB each but they probably do not decode the entire address from the 68000 and are thus mapped all over the place. If there enough free to add an external color screen? (I don't care if the mac even knows it exists but I would like a color screen to use in my programs) Thanks for any help, I guess what I would really like is detail on how the different IO devices are mapped to the 68000's memory, and if there are any problems with adding more. -- _________________________________________________________________________ Wayne Scott | INTERNET: wscott@ecn.purdue.edu Electrical Engineering | BITNET: wscott%ecn.purdue.edu@purccvm Purdue University | UUCP: {purdue, pur-ee}!ecn.purdue.edu!wscott
