I know the subject of SE/30's and color has been frequently discussed the last couple of weeks, but I never found any answers to the questions relevant to my particular situation. I have already decided to buy an Apple 13" RGB monitor. My three main questions are: 1) If I buy this monitor in the USA, through mail order, will I be able to safely plug it in here in the Netherlands, or do I need to buy a 'European' monitor? 2) I only want 8-bit color. Does it matter which video card I buy, i.e. can I buy a cheap one, or will the performance of my monitor depend on the card that I buy, and will only the expensive Apple card give me a superior display quality? 3) Can any 'normal' video card be used with an SE/30, or is a special SE/30 card necessary? Asking these kinds of questions on the net has always resulted in loads of friendly, informative replies. If you people still haven't tired of explaining things to me, than maybe I will soon see System 7.0 run in color on my very own monitor. Aaahh....:-) -- Leo Breebaart (leo @ duttnph.tudelft.nl)
