I have a FDHD and the upgrade kit for the Mac II. What parts do I need to upgrade my SE? Can I make use of the parts I have? If I do make the upgrade will I be losing the 800K drives functionality (I have two)? The parts I have are as follows: 1 FDHD drive mechanism 1 MFM-GCR Floppy Disk Controller 344S0062 (is this the SWIM chip?) 1 IC, ROM, 512K 342-0639 1 IC, ROM, 512K 342-0640 1 IC, ROM, 512K 342-0641 1 IC, ROM, 512K 342-0642 Anyone care to explain what these parts are? -- ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- Alan Chapman, Tutor, School of Info.
