Is it possible to connect a QMS 410 laser printer directly using a serial cable to a Mac IIci? There's someone I know trying to do this. He tried installing all the utilities that came with the QMS 410, including patching the Laser Prep file with laser.patch but the Namer keeps insisting that it can't find the QMS 410. What is he doing wrong? Has anyone tried a direct connection like this? I'd appreciate any replies--please email to me since I don't read this forum often.
