We have an original (quantum) Apple drive which was, for better or worse, reformatted at one time with SilverLining. We would now like to return it to original Apple drivers, partly for System 7 issues, partly for site uniformity. But -- you guessed it -- Apple's HD SC Setup no longer can see the drive. Since the drive is genuine Apple equipment, there must be a low-level bit flipped somewhere to prevent my reformatting it back. Is there a utility or resedit change that can restore the drive to its initial state? No doubt running a big magnet over it would help, but I'd rather not.
