I've been shopping around for a Mac IIci configuration. I had planned to buy a minimial system, e.g. 5MB and no disk, and then add memory and a mail order disk. One dealer told me that opening the case to add the memory and the disk would void the warrantee. I know Apple's policy about a non-authorized individual opening a Plus, SE, or Classic case; does the same policy apply to a Mac II? How could Apple tell who had installed the memory and disk? I'd like to hear from anyone who *knows* Apple's policy about user installation of memory, boards, and disks. Thanks, Barry Wolman -- Barry Wolman 159 Oxbow Road Needham, MA 02192 617-449-3874
