To all the hardware gurus, As the Apple decrease the price for upgrade of IIcx to IIci, one question came into my mind. Is it worth to upgrade my IIcx to IIci, if I may purchase a 68040 accelerator in the long run? I don't know how the accelerator works with original CPU you have. If it doesn't need the original CPU very much. There is no sense to upgrade my IIcx to IIci, since the 68040 accelerators are of the same speed. Even if there is a little difference in performance, I still would prefer not the spend the extra $1000. May I right here?
