[comp.sys.mac.hardware] MicroNet 30M hard drive

gam@beta.lanl.gov (Gim Mark) (05/30/91)

The mail-order company Pre-owned Electronics has for sale
new 30M MicroNet hard drives for about $240. Has anyone
had any experience with either this company or these
drives?

Please email responses.

Thanks.

i don't know about those, but wholesale 54 (800-659-0054) is selling a
new external 40mb drive w/ sony mechanism (20ms) for $269. you could
also get the same drive with a 40mb quantum (12ms) for $289.
personally, i'm holding out for the 80mb maxtor for $339.

all drives are external, in a zero-footprint case, and come with cables
and software. if you want an internal drive, the prices are even less.
decisions, decisions,...
