An earlier message concerning the 'easy upgradeability' of a Personal LaserWriter LS got me scurrying to MY manual to see what, if anything, it said about memory expansion for a Personal LW NT. You guessed it - the manual says NOTHING (ok, it was a pretty cursory check). I pulled the motherboard out of the printer (also, interestingly enough, this wasn't documented either but was obvious); it has two standard-looking 8x1MB SIMMS (100ns). So, the question is: Can I just pop in a couple of 4MB SIMMS in here and get 8MB in the printer? Can I just change one of the two SIMMS, to get 5MB?
