We just got a call from the AT&T rep. The new AT&T Personal Computer is going to be -- you guessed it -- an IBM PC-clonealike !! It's an 8086- based machine manufactured by Olivetti, no less. Price to be set below that of an IBM-PC/XT (wheee...). Sigh. So much for the dream of a single-user 3B machine. In it's place we get a 3 year old piece of junk that was obsolete 3 years ago. Another winning market-place move brought to you by the MBA's at AT&T. Just thought I'd let you in on the good news. Excuse me, please. I think I'm going to go find a nice quiet corner and wretch for a while... Ugh. -- The preceding message was brought to you by -- Ray Chen UUCP: umcp-cs!eneevax!imsvax!rcc (NEW ADDRESS) Voice: (301) 984-8343 USnail: Integrated Microcomputer Systems, Inc.
