[comp.sys.mac.hardware] Cheap SE to SE/30 upgrade??????

gillooly@vixvax.mgi.com (06/14/91)

Has anyone heard of a $700 (ad educational discount) for an upgrade
from a Macintosh SE to the SE/30.

If you have, did it include the FDHD SuperDrive?

Well, sort of. Here at CMU it's going for $788 (don't ask me how they got this
wierd price). The commercial price is $999.

No, but you get the logic hardware for it, which means that if you decide to
upgrade to the superdrive, it shouldn't cost the complete upgrade price for
the drive.
