[comp.sys.mac.hardware] Scanner inquiry

   Does anyone out there on the net know of a good scanner/software combination
for OCR (optical character recognition) work?  I read the review in MacUser and
the Datacopy JetReader 220 or the DEST PC Scan 2000 both sound like good
scanners.  I think that a sheetfed scanner would be better than a
flatbed scanner for OCR type work.  Also, what types of software are available
for translating text once it is scanned?
