I'd like to hear from someone who has been using a TI PS17 Postscript printer with downloaded fonts. I'd like to hear about how well the downloading worked (did you manually transmit them or were they sent "automagically"). In particular, I'd like to find out how many fonts could be downloaded at once in the standard 1.5MB of memory. I've been using the Adobe Plus Pack fonts (same as fonts provided in the PS35) with ATM and a DeskJet Plus. If the TI PS17 can hold two or three font definitions at once and retain them as long as power is on, it looks like I can save about $300 over the PS35 that comes with the extra Adobe fonts.
