FYI, a ci w/OUT disk is now obtainable new on the open market for as little as 3400.00. (!). Add a new 3rd party disk, Cache card, e.g. Seiko monitor (~~$550), and keyboard and you probably *will* exceed $4,500.00, but not neccesarily by much, and it'd be *new*. Rich

Not only do ci's retail for under $3400 on the street, but it is
well worth the effort to find a friend who is a student or teache
at an educational institution with an arangement with Apple. Where
I go to school, the educational discount is around 40%. For us, ci's
around 2600-2700.
