In the past few months I have heard rumours from various places about the following new macs. Can somebody tell me which are probably real, when they are likely to be released, and what features they are likely to have? A new portable or portables, maybe using a 68030, manufactured by Sony for apple. A tower mac based on a 25MHz 68040. A IIcx/ci sized mac based on a 68040. A new Mac LC with a 68EC030 processor. A 68030 version of the Mac Classic. This last Mac interests me the most (I may even be able to afford one. Wow) Is it likely to have similar capabilities to the SE/30, or are we looking at something scaled down. Most importantly, will it have a slot, a coprocessor (or the ability to add one), 32 bit addressing (if it didn't it would be a miserable attempt to cripple the machine and I'd be a bit annoyed) and will it support the use of virtual memory.
