My sister-in-law just bought an LC with the Apple IIe emulator card and 5.25 drive so she can run old IIe software. The card comes with a Y-cable adapter with a DB25 connector going to the drive and a DB9 connector for connecting a joystick. Does anybody know the signal pinout for the DB9 joystick connector? Are the signals in this DB9 style joystick connector the same as the old Apple II joystick that plugged into a 16pin DIP socket on the motherboard? I'm wondering if I can make an adapter to connect an old Apple II joystick with its 16pin DIP socket connector to the new DB9 connector. Thanks!
