Hi to all....
We're getting ready to buy a Syquest 44Mb Removable drive, and
are trying to price various options. The main constraint
is that if the price as ordered is less than $500, we
don't have to worry with purchasing as much, which is sometimes a good
thing...
We found an advertisement in MacWorld (July) for a drive from
MacLand for a "SyQuest 42 Megabyte Removable Hard Disk Drive"
(no model number listed) for $425 (no cartridge included).
Does anyone out there have love/hate stories about MacLand? Or is
there a better place to buy given our constraints? We've bought from
MacConnection before, but their price is much higher than this quote.
Replies by e-mail (doug@clarity.princeton.edu) would be appreciated,
and if there's sufficient interest, I'll post a summary.
thanx!
