From GEOFF5@SRI-CSL Thu Oct 6 22:43:12 1983 Rick, Be aware that these microcoded DDCMP controllers come in "flavors" and that the DDCMP implemented by them is not the same as the DDCMP which is implemented in software with DUP-11's. Check with your field service people that the two controllers are supposed to be compatible and on the correct ECO levels (there are several different ECO levels of DMC-11's that are all "current" but not compatible, I have heard). Also, field service has a test package for 11's called ITEP which has an overlay for each type of interface which can be used to test compatibility. I don't know iw if it's supported on VMS diagnostics. Cheer up, there is still hope /Lars
