Is this statement true? For some reason, I do not believe it is, since code is shared by objects through inheritance. But I want to be sure... Thanks, Vassilios E. Axaris

Has anyone written a lexical analyser or parser generator in an object oriented language? Is it in the public domain? Has anyone done attribute grammar work in an object oriented language? Is there a good parallel object oriented language? Has anyone looked into using parallel object oriented languages to capture the parallelism within attribute grammars? Who, if anybody is doing research in this area? Who's interested (besides me)?

Smalltalk/V from comes with Prolog/V, an object-oriented prolog within the Smalltalk system. I have just begun to look at it, so I cannot tell you very much about it...just that it's there.
