[comp.object] concurrency control in oodbs

sullivan@cs.washington.edu (Kevin Sullivan) (10/24/89)

I am looking for articles on concurrency control and recovery in "object
bases." Useful information gladly received. I'll summarize if there's
enough of a response. Thanks.

The PROFEMO and RelaX projects at GMD in Stuttgart have done some very
impressive stuff in this area - recent papers are in the 8th Symposium on
Reliable Distributed Systems, Seattle, 1989; the 22nd Hawaii International
Conference on Computer and System Sciences, January 1988; and IEEE Micro,
October 1988.
