[comp.object] How to get et++ and patches

rich@Rice.edu (Rich Murphey) (01/20/90)

There is a copy of the most recent patches to et++ written by Bryan
Boreham <kewill!bryan@uunet.uu.net> available via anon. ftp from
qed.rice.edu (128.42.4.38).  Look for /pub/et-36-patches.tar.Z.  These
patches allow you to compile et++ using g++ 1.36.

The et++ distrubution itself was available via anon. ftp from
cayuga.cs.rochester.edu [192.5.53.209] in pub/et++-1.0.tar.Z[1234].

You can get easily hooked on the idea of having both a class browser
and runtime inspector. It also has a very nice graphics editor
applications called draw. We have run it on sun3's here under X and
suntools. The docs have info on other hosts and window systems.

I can post or forward one of Bryan's last announcements if there is
interest. (Perhaps he will see this and comment also?)
