[comp.object] Prototyped Object System for Scheme

mccarrol@topaz.rutgers.edu (Mark C. Carroll <MC>) (03/26/90)

Hello all!

I'm a CS undergrad senior, working on an independant research project
in Object-oriented programming systems. As a part of this study, I've
written a Prototyped object-oriented package for the Fools Lisp
variant of Scheme. It's very nearly complete, and I'd like to find a
couple of people to play with it, and see if they can find bugs, or
make suggestions on it. Once it's passed through this group, I'll
be willing to give it away to anyone who wants it.

Anyway, I'm looking for people who'll be willing to test it for me.
The requirements are: a reliable mail path to/from Rutgers, a working
copy of Fools Lisp, and a willingness to play around with a minimally
documented prototype system.

I'm posting this at 3pm on Sunday, March 25. If you receive this
before Wednesday the 27th, and you're interested, please send me
email. If you recieve it at any time beyond midnight tuesday, please
don't reply yet. (Yes, it's a gimmick to keep me from getting 700
people wanting copies. I will be glad to eventually send it to
everyone who wants it, but for now, I want to keep the volume down!)

The address to reply to is:
	mccarrol@topaz.rutgers.edu

In your reply, just tell me your name, and whether your a student or a
professional, etc. (just to satisfy my curiousity. It doesn't really
matter.)

Thanks!
