[comp.object] Coad/Yourdon OOA: Info request.

paj@argus.uucp (Paul Johnson) (07/11/90)

Does anyone know if there is a mailing list to discuss the
Object-Oriented Analysis methodology of Peter Coad and Edward Yourdon?
I have the book and have read the section about a free newsletter, but
the reply card in our copy is mysteriously missing. Email discussion
would be better in any case.

Mail me and I will summarise.

Thanks in advance,

Paul.

I would think that the comp.object newsgroup would be ideal. There have
been previous postings on this book as well as lengthy articles by Ed
Berard on OODA, OORA, and "Creation of, and Conversion to, Object-
Oriented Requirements". Why create a new forum? Even though most
readers of comp.object may not have read OOA, I would expect many/most
to be interested in a good discussion of the book and/or the subject.
