First of all, my apology for cross-posting to this newsgroup. Comp.lang.objective-c is probably the more appropriate newsgroup, but my site does not subscribe to it (or it hasn't been established yet). Now the main question ..... How do people learn to program in Objective C? There is no book in the market today teaching the language except Mr. Cox's _OOP_An_Evolutionary_Approach_, which does not really teach you the language. I really want to learn the language. Please help. Thanks so much. Name: Andrew Choi Phone: (415)848-5658 Internet Address: andychoi@ocf.berkeley.edu #include <standard/disclaimer.h>

How I learned is to read the manuals provided by StepStone with the Objective-C compiler. These manuals I found to be very well written (one of the best manual sets I've seen) and I was able to write Objective-C code within 45 minutes of first cracking open the manuals (it took much longer to write my first C++ program). If you don't have the manuals, call StepStone at (203) 426-1875 (...and say hi to Ann Wilkie for me). -- Chuck Noren NET: dinl!noren@ncar.ucar.edu US-MAIL: Martin Marietta I&CS, MS XL8058, P.O.
