GA.SBP@forsythe.stanford.edu (Bo Parker) (11/22/90)
I am looking for a speaker on the topic of object oriented programming for a workshop the last week in March, '91. The workshop attendees will primarily be applications programmers with little or no prior exposure to object oriented programming. They will be very experienced at database design and development. The presentation would be for 90 minutes and could be thought of as a "first introduction" to object oriented programming. What is it being used for now, what application areas are likely first targets, and how and where will application programmers develop skills in this area? If you have heard/given interesting and polished presentations on these and associated topics please send suggestions for speakers to Bo Parker at GA.SBP@FORSYTHE.STANFORD.EDU; or call me at 415 723-3743. There is an honorarium associated with the presentation.
