From: William "Chops" Westfield <BillW@SRI-KL> Kevin Carosso's article on using the DEUNA is now available for FTPing from SRI-KL in the file: <INFO-VAX>DEUNA.TXT or DEUNA.LPT The .TXT file is in troff/etc format (apparently), while the .LPT file is the result of nroff and is suitable for printing on a dumb terminal/line printer. SRI-KL supports the ANONYMOUS login convention - an FTP user can login using user name anonymous and any password (the convention is to use your real name as password). The .TXT file is approximately 53K bytes long, the .LPT about 51K. I supose that either I or INFO-VAX-REQUEST would be willing to mail copies to people who are unable to FTP the file. Due to the length of the file, We would like to avoid this as much as possible. The older, shorter (about 10K) version of this article that was send to INFO-VAX is also available in <INFO-VAX>DEUNA.SHORT Enjoy BillW

From: Dick <Alrutz.Wbst@XEROX.ARPA> Bill, I am at XEROX Corp. in Western N.Y. and do not have an account on our company's ARPA gateway (it is in CA., therefore: no FTP). I am on the internal mail service, but the document you describe is presumably too long for this service. Is there some other method that can be employed to send the DEUNA material? Please let me know as it appears significant. Thank you. -- Dick
