I am a graduate student at Mississippi State University working on a Master's of Science in Computer Science. Does anyone know of ANY reference material on the task of testing in the Object Oriented environment? If you do please respond. jwb3@ra.msstate.edu Thanks in advance, Jeff Britt

Well Jeff, I'm not sure what you mean by "testing in the Object-Oriented environment" but here's what I have with "testing" and "object-oriented" in the title. I hope this is some use. Recently (about 4+ months ago), Ed Berard posted a paper on testing O-O software to this group. I don't know if it has been published anywhere, but I grabbed an electronic copy. It's easy to convert to LaTeX format, or whatever. It's also a good paper! "Issues in the Testing of Object-Oriented Software" - Edward V. Berard, Berard Software Engineering, Inc. Another possible reference I have is "Adequate Testing and Object-Oriented Programming" - supposedly appearing in the Journal of Object-Oriented Programming January 1990, p. 13. If you get any more responses could you please drop me an e-mail line? I'm interested in this sort of stuff, too.
