[comp.object] OOPS Messenger

achiu@orchid.Tymnet.COM (Andrew Chiu ext=7097) (04/23/91)

I just know there is new Journal called "OOPS Messenger" from SIGPLAN,
ACM Press. What kind of topics it covers? Is it good in general?
How to subscribe it?

Any hint will help.

To get "OOPS Messenger" you have to be a member of ACM and SIGPLAN.
There maybe a way to get the journal otherwise, but I don't know how.
The editor of OOPS Messenger is Stanley Zdonik (sbz@cs.brown.edu).

There were two issues so far. The second issue had the following
articles:

"How to get your paper accepted by OOPSLA"
"ADL: A Dynamic O-O Modeling Language"
  "Integrating O-O and Logic Programming"
"Graph Interpretation of Methods: A Unifying Framework for
   Polymorphism in O-O Programming"

Hope this helps.
