How do I find out inside a C program (which dials out on a serial port) as to whether the modem is still connected to the remote machine, or for some reason it has lost connection. i.e if the carrier detect signal is still on or not. I think that some ioctl calls would have to be used, but I am not sure which and how ? Please EMAIL any helpful responses. Thanks in advance.
